Matta Yehovah exists to offer support, encouragement, education, resources and assistance to women on their healing journey from religious/spiritual trauma, narcissitic abuse, patriarchy, sexism, and misogyny within the church. ​

About Me

Stacy completed her undergraduate degree at Grace College & Seminary and holds a graduate degree in Counseling from the CACREP accredited Townsend Institute at Concordia University Irvine. Stacy is also a certified Biblical Life Coach and a member of the Biblical Coaching Alliance (BCA). She served on the board for the Fellowship of Christian Counselors (FCC) from 2019 - 2021. She completed ministry training through Francis Frangipane's 'In Christ's Image' program and became certified in Inner Healing Ministry through Above & Beyond Counseling.


She previously partnered with Emerald Ministries as a biblical counselor, discipleship mentor and coach. Stacy gained further experience working with women at Noble House Ministries, Inc., an addiction recovery & domestic violence center, where she was awarded 2014 volunteer of the year. She went on to receive additional training through an internship at Hope Alive, Inc., a Christian counseling and transitional living center.


Increasing her skill set, she has worked as a Soul Medic for Remedy Live, an on-line 24/7 text & chat crisis line, an Intake Therapist at St. Joe Behavioral Health Hospital, Associate Therapist at an Addiction Treatment Center, and Associate Therapist in a group practice. She has experience working with a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, domestic violence, sexual abuse, self-harm, shame, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, grief, and loss.

 

She specializes in trauma, grief, Narcissistic Abuse Recovery and Religious Abuse Recovery. Stacy is a member of Universal Life Church Ministries, in 2022 she became an ordained minister.
